Judy Ann was born and raised in Taos and has lived here all her life. In her early teens, she began an extended apprenticeship with a local silversmith at the oldest trading post in Taos. Here, she learned metal fabricating skills; college art study further developed her interest and passion for jewelry design. Judy Ann joined Taos Artisans Cooperative Gallery in 1986, shortly after it was formed. She has handcrafted quality silver jewelry consistently for more than 30 years. She takes pride in the traditional style and timeless elegance of her work.
